My Story

Being born and raised in Puerto Rico with a bilingual education, I enjoyed spending summers in the Dominican Republic with my grandparents. Speaking, reading and writing in two languages sparked an interest in education. My background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Miami, a Master’s Degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania and a fifteen years career--eventually pausing to raise two children as the family moved up the East Coast.

In 2018 my desire to teach led me to becoming a substitute instructor in the Fairfield Public School System and in the Diocese of Bridgeport mainly in kindergarten classes. These classroom experiences led me to consider an idea - that of providing children with an enjoyable and easy way to learn Spanish.
